Greetings To my fellow Cosmetology and Barber Professionals!
Have you ever thought about what it would be like to be a member of a sorority or fraternity? Or how wonderful it would be if there was a sorority or fraternity for people in our industry? Have you ever desired to be a part of something great, something truly extraordinary that would really make a difference in your life and the lives of others? Have you ever wanted to join a group you could be proud of, where everyone could work together to accomplish something that could be passed to the next generation? Have you ever just wanted to fellowship and bond with others in your field, professionals like yourself, who would understand your experiences, and share your goals, concerns and aspirations.
If you have ever felt this way, then I’d like to introduce to you one of the genuine treasures of the cosmetology industry, Alpha Chi Pi Omega Sorority and Fraternity, Incorporated. Alpha Chi Pi Omega Sorority is a Greek-Lettered international service organization dedicated to the development of hair care  professionals and the advancement and promotion of the entire beauty and barber industry throughout the United States and the world. We were established on October 27, 1945 in Washington D.C. by our beloved and legendary founder Dr. Marjorie Stewart Joyner and her co-founders, renowned educator Dr Mary McLeod Bethune and United States Congressman William Dawson.
Our historic institution was created to empower and equip the beauty and barber professionals of the world to reach the pinnacle of excellence and success. Our work is primarily performed through chapters located in many major cities of the country and organized into geographical areas with centralized direction coming from a national staff of officers – both elected and appointed.  We adhere to the highest principles of our industry,  and have sought to lift the educational, business and economical standards of hair care professionals everywhere.
